Qingsong Wang is currently an Associate Researcher at Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Institute of CNS Regeneration, Jinan University. Dr. Wang obtained Bachelor of Science degree from Shandong Agricultural University in 2003. Ph. D. of Science from China Agricultural University in 2010 and Visiting D.Phil Student in University of Oxford, UK. Master of Business Administration from Nankai University in 2014. Dr. Wang worked on gene therapy in Duchenne muscular dystrophy and therapeutic targets during oxidative stress in cancer from 2010 to 2017. Professional Scientific Collab in The Scripps Research Institute, USA in 2016. Dr. Wang joined Chen Gong group Jinan University in 2017. She mainly focuses on using chinese medicine moleculers in glial cells to differentiate into functional neurons, and their application of Huntington’s and other neurodegenerative disease. Dr. Wang has pulished more than 10 peer review papers, such as in Genomics, Gene, J Gene Med, Nat Commun, MolTher, MolTher Nucleic Acids. Dr. Wang received 2 grants from NSFC.
