Dr. Zongqin Xiang obtained his PhD degree at Jinan University. He focused on in vivo reprogramming astrocytes into functional neurons in the mouse cortex. He performed two photon live imaging to investigate the process of astrocyte to neuron conversion and the neuronal circuit integration. He has published first-authored papers including Neuropharmacology and Neural Regeneration Research. His studies were supported by National Natural Science Founding of China.
